The windshield wiper motor in some General Motors SUVs can fail prematurely due to excessive freeplay between the internal worm and spur gears. As the drive shaft with the worm moves up and down, the freeplay stresses the individual teeth on the plastic spur gears and can even increase to the point of damaging the motor's copper windings. This OE FIX wiper and transmission assembly reduces the freeplay by holding tighter manufacturing tolerances and by incorporating a special stop block within the motor's casing to limit shaft travel. I had a hard time finding any 17 inch 7-lug rim for my 2014 Ford F150XL. I saw that a matching rim was listed on Ebay by Wheel Synergy while doing a Google Search, so I decided to check them out personally. I don't do Ebay. It took just a little while to find the right part. The process was smooth. Even the Standard Shipping (Free) was faster than some of the errant rims from salvage yards.
The only change I would make? They had listings for F-150 & F150. The rim I needed was under the latter. Maybe change one to F150HD?
